Aragon leads the renewable energy sector with 79 windparks and 56 photovoltaics.

Wind energy is already the first source of electricity generation in Aragon. 
The parks already account for 29% of annual production and replace coal and cogeneration. Its weight will multiply in the coming years with the projects that are under construction and in the pipeline, which will double between 2019 and 2020 the installed power, which reached 2,015 megawatts at the end of 2018.

The biomass business in Aragon is also growing by more than 20% to reach 46 million by 2017. It generates more than 400 jobs in the region, according to the Spanish association Avebiom.

ALOT has a strong presence in this sector of renewable energy at national and international level, being in the first semester of 2019 the main sector in turnover of the company.
